Open the Zika Pregnancy Screening Template

You can open the Zika Pregnancy Screening template from the Contagion Risk link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an adult female patient and an encounter. On the Intake template, select the Contagion Risk link.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the Zika Pregnancy Screening link.The Zika Pregnancy Screening template opens. Document Zika Exposure Details for a Patient's Partner

You can document a patient partner’s Zika exposure details on the Zika Pregnancy Screening template. Open the Zika Pregnancy Screening template. Select the Partner Details link on the template.The Partner Details panel opens. Zika Pregnancy Screening_Partner Details To change the date, select Screening Date. By default, the encounter date is selected. Note: You cannot enter future dates. Select if the patient's partner has lived in or traveled to any area with the risk of Zika. Select a country and state. Select the date of arrival and departure. Note: The departure date must be later than the arrival date. Select if the patient's partner had any signs or symptoms of Zika during the trip or after returning. Enter comments, if any, and select Add.The entry appears in the grid. Select OK. Generate Zika Pregnancy Screening Documents

You can generate a Zika pregnancy screening document with the complete Zika exposure details. You can generate Zika pregnancy screening document in the Documents module. The patient and partner details appear in the master documents. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an adult female patient and an encounter. On the Intake template, select the Contagion Risk link.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the Detailed document option. Close the Contagion Exposure template. From the navigation bar, select Preview.The master document is generated with the new Contagion Risk section. Deactivate a Zika Pregnancy Screening Record

You can deactivate a Zika pregnancy screening record from the Contagion Exposure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an adult female patient and an encounter. On the Intake template, select the Contagion Risk link.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the record in the Contagion Exposure History grid. Contagion Exposure History Select the Deactivate checkbox. Select Update.The deactivated date appears in the respective grid row. Note: A deactivated record cannot be updated. The badge count decreases on the patient header after the record is deactivated. The Contagion Exposure Log grid includes the log entry. If you modify any travel data and it is still positive for exposure, the Contagion Exposure History grid data is updated and the Contagion Exposure Log entry is created in the Contagion Exposure Log grid. Update Zika Exposure Entries

You can update the Zika exposure details of a patient and their partner. To update a patint and partner's Zika exposure details recorded on a previous encounter, you must open the encounter where screening was recorded. The updated Zika screening details also appear in the Contagion Exposure History and Contagion Exposure Log grids on the Contagion Exposure template. The Contagion Exposure Log grid display data only if the original entry is modified. If you enter the data for the first time, the details do not appear in the grid. If you select the Yes option for questions 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in the Patient Details section, the count increases by 1 in the Contagion Exposure template. Open the Zika Pregnancy Screening template. Select the record from the grid. Zika Pregnancy Screening Edit the details about the patient's Zika screening. Select Update. Select Add. Document Patient's Zika Pregnancy Exposure Details

You can document the patient and the patient's and partner's Zika exposure details. Open the Zika Pregnancy Screening template. Zika Pregnancy Screening_Patient Details To change the default screening date, select Screening Date and edit the date. By default, the encounter date is selected in the field. You cannot enter a future date as the screening date. Note: When Enterprise Chart is turned on, all practices can view the added Zika screening details. You can edit or remove the details in the respective practice. Select if the patient has traveled before or during a pregnancy or frequently traveled in an area with the risk of Zika. Select a country and state. Select the date of arrival and departure, and the time since the patient traveled.Time since travel is automatically calculated.
