View Pediatric Bone Age History

You can view the patient's growth charts individually on the Vs Charts Peds template. If the bone age details are documented in the Office Service or Order Management template, then the patient's bone age and patient's age during the test appear at the bottom of the Vs Charts Peds template. The grid displays the updated bone age details. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Vital Signs panel, click Graph to view the pediatrics growth curve and percentile.The Vs Charts Peds template opens. Review and Update Pediatric Vital Signs

If you need to update a vital sign of a patient, ensure that you are editing the desired record, as vital signs can be entered multiple times during the encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Vital Signs panel, select a record in the grid and click Edit.For patients who are two years or younger, the Pediatric Under 2 Years Vital Signs template opens. For patients who are older than two years, the Pediatric Over 2 Years Vital Signs template opens with the values filled in the respective fields. Edit the corresponding vital sign. Click Save, and then Close. View Pediatric Growth Charts You can view the pediatric growth chart based on the age and measurements of the patient. The standard growth chart measures BMI, weight, height, and head circumference. View Pediatric Bone Age History You can view the patient's growth charts individually on the Vs Charts Peds template. Add Vital Signs of Pediatric Patients

You can document the vital signs of a pediatric patient on the Pediatric Vital Signs template. The template displays the weight for an age per length and sex-specific percentile value for patients who are younger than three years, based on their weight and height. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, click Templates to open the Select Template window, and then select the Intake template. In the Vital Signs panel, click Add.The Pediatric [Age] Vital Signs template opens. In the Height/length measurements section, do one of the following: To use data from a previous encounter, select Carried forward . To enter data from today's encounter, select a position and then enter the height, and then select Measured today. Generate Growth Charts on the Vital Signs Template

You can select the Growth Chart link on the Pediatric Vital Signs template to view a set of up to four growth charts at a time in a single window. The set may include growth charts for height, weight, head circumference, and BMI. Before you begin Before you generate a growth chart, you must set up the appropriate graphing preferences in System Administrator.
