Enter Comments on Dynamic HPI

You can enter comments or additional information at any time during the documentation of the history of present illness on the dynamic HPI template. On the dynamic HPI template, click the Add/Edit Comments button. The Section field fills with the current section. Click the down arrow next to the Section field to change to a different section, as needed. Type the desired information into the Comments field on the Dynamic HPI Comments template.Dynamic HPI Comments Click Save & Close to return to the dynamic HPI template. Erase Concatenated Data in Dynamic HPI

You can erase the concatenated data from the HPI note using the Remove HPI Findings template. You can remove an entire section or a specific finding. On the dynamic HPI, click the Remove button. The Remove HPI Findings template appears. Remove HPI Findings The Click the Side filter field to filter the grid to view lateral information, if applicable. To remove an entire section from the concatenation, highlight the row from the Select the section to remove grid, and click Remove. Select the section to remove from Remove HPI Findings To remove a specific finding, highlight the finding in the Select the finding to remove grid and click Remove. Remove HPI Findings Click the Close button to return to the HPI template.Data is saved upon concatenation to the History of Present Illness column in the Reason for Visit grid on both the HPI and SOAP templates. Change the Order of the Dynamic HPI Findings

Open the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Select Change Order to move a single item. The Select row to move text appears on top of the Findings grid. Select the row to be moved. Add Historical HPI Findings to the Current Dynamic HPI

Open the dynamic HPI template. Click the View Previous button. The Historical HPI Findings template launches. Select the most recent encounter from the left grid. In the Select the finding to add area, click the desired data row to add it to the Current HPI field. The selected data is added to the Current HPI field. Update an HPI Finding on the Dynamic HPI Config Practice Template

You can update an HPI finding using the Dynamic HPI Config template. Open the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Click the down arrow in the Reason field to select a value from the list.Setup HPI The content for the selected reason appears in the Chief Complaint field and the Sections grid. Select a row in the Sections grid. The content of the selected section appears in the fields above the Sections grid. Also, the Findings and Dependencies grids appears with the associated content of that section. In the Findings grid, highlight a row in the grid. Select new values in the available fields as needed. Remove Procedure Findings from the Dynamic HPI

You can remove the documented procedure findings from the concatenation in the dynamic HPI template. On the ASC - Physician Procedure template, click the desired procedure details in the Reason for Visit panel. The dynamic HPI template opens. Click Remove to open the Remove HPI Findings template. Remove HPI Findings To delete an entire section from the concatenation, highlight the row from the Select the section to remove grid and click the Remove button at the bottom of that grid. To take out a single finding from a section, highlight the finding in the Select the finding to remove grid and click the Remove button. Click Close to return to the dynamic HPI template. The concatenated record updates in the field below the right grid. Click Close. The procedure details update in the Reason for Visit panel and the Procedure panel.
