Filtering Displayed Orders

You can use the Recent Orders panel to filter orders displayed by time frame. The Filter field in the Recent Orders panel is used to filter the orders displayed by time frame. Orders with any activity or action within the selected timeframe appear in the grid. The ordered date or the last date where any action taken on the order is used by the system to determine whether to display the order or not. You can select time frame in Days, Weeks, or Months. The default time frame is 180 days. Displayed orders are listed in alphabetical order. Note: Immunizations are not displayed in the Recent Orders panel, they are displayed in the Immunizations panel. Filter Selected Guidelines in the Active Guidelines Grid

You can filter selected active care guidelines of a patient in the Active Guidelines panel. There are several ways to filter and display only selected guidelines in the Active Guidelines panel grid. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines template opens. Select Add/Update in the Care Guidelines panel.The Activate Care Guidelines template opens. In the Active Guidelines panel, to display only items due within a specific time period, select the Due within checkbox and then select the number of days, weeks, or months from the Show only items due within window. Activate Guidelines To display items for a selected guideline: Select the Display only selected guideline checkbox. Select the Condition from the list. Note: The grid do not display any items of a selected guideline that has not been activated for the patient. Display Specific Active Guideline Item for a Patient

You can filter display items for a specific guideline that is active for a patient. You can filter what appears in the Care Guidelines panel to display only those items that are part of a specific guideline which is active for the patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Care Guidelines panel. To display only those item that is part of a specific guideline which is active for the patient, do one of the following: Select the link for guideline of interest in the left pane. Select the Show All link to display all guideline items active for the patient. The Care Guidelines panel refreshes to display only those items that are part of the selected guideline. Check Orders for Orderable Guideline Items

You can check the orders for orderable guideline item of a patient. You can check the orders you have placed in the Recent Orders panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Recent Orders panel. Select the View All Orders link or the category link specific to the orders you want to see. Select the Pending button. Filter Displayed Guidelines Using Additional Filters

You can filter the display in a number of ways on the Care Guidelines Paged View template. You can filter a guideline from the available guideline using the Additional filters. The Additional filters can be used to refine the search using all the filter checkboxes. Care Guidelines Paged View Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Additional field, and select choices from the list. To search for a guideline, do one of the following: Select <free text search>, and enter the initial characters of the name of the guideline. Note: You must enter a minimum of three characters to enable the search. To enable filter based search based on the selected filter categories next to the Show selected, select Current filters. Based on the existing selections for Orderables, Recommended care (medication), and Recommended care (non-medication), the result appears. Recent Orders

You can view the orders for the patient using Recent Orders panel. The Recent Orders panel is where you can view and follow orders for the patient. The Recent Orders panel grid is a viewable grid only – you cannot take any action for items that appear in the grid. The panel has links to other templates used to follow and manage orders.
