The Documentation Log panel displays procedure related entries documented on the ASC - Preprocedure, ASC - Intraprocedure, and ASC - Postprocedure templates. The Anesthesiologist can review the procedure details and add a follow-up entry to the existing entries in the grid, and/or add a new entry in the panel. Documentation Log Panel on the ASC - Postprocedure Template

The Documentation Log panel displays the procedure related entries in the grid documented on the ASC - Preprocedure and ASC - Intraprocedure templates. The clinicians can track the medications and assessments during post-procedure, and add a follow-up entry to the existing entries in the grid. The clinicians can also add a new entry in the panel. The Documentation Log panel is a centralized location to document patient's assessments, routine quick notes, medications administered to the patient, any adverse events that occurred during the procedure, and the nursing diagnosis and nursing assessments initiated for the patient. The Documentation Log panel is also available on the following templates: ASC - Intraprocedure ASC - Postprocedure ASC - Anesthesiology Documentation Log The Procedure field displays the first procedure documented in the current encounter.
