Add a Case History Entry
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. The Case History panel enables you to track the history of a case by adding entries for case-related events. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Case & Consent template, expand the Consent panel. Navigate to the Case History panel. Case History From the Case History panel, select Add/Update. The CM New Case template opens. CM New Case Select the appropriate option for status under Indicate Status. Enter the Open date under Case Information.The current NextGen Healthcare user’s name populates to the open by text box. Select a reason in the Reason field. Select a Case Manager. Enter a Close date, if applicable. Select Update to add the new entry to the data grid. To task the entry, select on the entry in the grid and select Task. Follow the normal tasking steps to send the task to a recipient. Select Save & Close.The template closes and the new entry appears on the Case Hist

Use the Document Panel to Complete a Visit
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Documentation template, expand the Document panel. Document Add or update the diagnosis code as needed. Choose the appropriate type of visit for the encounter. Select the Add button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Open Medications module. Do one of the following: Select Medication History. From the Main menu, select Tools > Medication History Consent. The Medication History Consent window opens. Medication History Consent Select Show History. Use a Screening Tool
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Tools template, expand the Screening panel. Screening Select the required Screening Tool from the left navigation panel.The corresponding questionnaire appears.
