Access Assessment Plan Customization Template

From the File menu, select System / Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, under Show, select All to search for and select Assessment Plan Customization.The Assessment Plan Customization template opens. Create a New Order Set

The My Plan templates display all order sets that are available in the system, including those that are shipped with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The order sets can be based on a diagnosis group, provider, or specialty (department). On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. In the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section, right-click and select Add New. Assessment and Plan Customization window The Provider's Custom Plan template opens. Depending on how you want to set up the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Update an Order Set

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Select the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid.The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Add Orders in the Order Management Template

Click the Order Management link to launch the Order Management template. The system selects the All Orders option by default to display all of the orders placed in the current encounter. If orders are not available in the grid, click Add to launch the My Plan template. Note: If you select the Launch My Custom Plan (ord_my_custom_plan) check box on the Practice Configuration practice template, then the My Custom Plan template launches. Common Assessments

The Common Assessments practice template enables you to define common assessments that providers can quickly select on various NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The Common Assessments practice template is used to define and manage common and custom assessments for a specialty. In run time, the configured common assessments appear in the Common Assessment template that opens when you click the Add common assessment link on the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. In the Common Assessment template, the order of the common assessments is same as the order of the assessments configured in the Common Assessments practice template for the selected specialty. You can click the Common assessment field in the Common Assessment template to select a different common assessments group.
