You can generate a care guidelines report for the patient's record.
You can use the ngsprep_care_guidelines stored procedure to generate enterprise-level reports that display all patient records (in alphabetical order) that are due for the specified care guideline or test. For example Pap, lipid panel.
The
ngsprep_care_guidelines store procedure, when runs, temporarily updates care guidelines data prior to run the report. It ensures that the generated report shows records with updated care guideline data to view all patients that are due for the selected guideline. However, the patient's chart is not updated.
CAUTION:
Care guidelines in the patient’s chart only gets updated when you create an encounter and run the care guidelines store procedure, for example on the
Intake template.
To create a specific guideline report, you need to filter the data by accessing the options from the NextGen Report Filter: Patient template. You can configure a memorized report.
Note: These five care guideline templates are no longer available for reporting: CARE_GUIDLELINES, CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_HISTORY, CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_REASONS, CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_UPDATE, and CLINICAL_GUIDELINES.
