Add Custom Links for Medical or Surgical Histories
In the
Manage Custom Links
template, with the
filters set
appropriately, click the
Link to
field to select
Med Surg Histories
from the resulting list.
To populate the
Specialty Histories
field, do one of the following:
To base the new link on an existing one, highlight the appropriate grid row to automatically populate the fields.
To create a new link, type the name of the template or procedure code.
Click any of the following fields to select the appropriate options to which the custom link is applicable:
Popup to
Gender
Age
Click
Add
.
The newly created custom link is added to the grid and a confirmation message displays.
To create additional links, click
Clear
.
You may need to
reset the filters
.
To save the custom data, click
Save and Close

Add Custom Links for Family Histories
In the Manage Custom Links template, with the filters set appropriately, click the Link to field to select Family Histories from the resulting list. Select the appropriate row to automatically populate the Specialty Family Histories field with Family History Popup and frw_family_hx as the Popup to template. Click any of the following fields to select the appropriate options to which the custom link is applicable: Popup to Gender Age Click Add. The newly created custom link is added to the grid and a confirmation message displays. To create additional links, click Clear. You may need to reset the filters. Add Custom Links for Procedure Codes
In the Manage Custom Links template, with the filters set appropriately, click the Link to field to select Procedure code to detail pop up to launch from the resulting list. To populate the Procedure code field, do one of the following: To base the new link on an existing one, select the appropriate row to automatically populate the fields. To create a new link from scratch, type the procedure code number in the field. Click the Popup to field to select a template to launch from the resulting list. Click any of the following fields to select the appropriate options to which the custom link is applicable: Popup to Gender Age Click Add. The newly created custom link is added to the grid and a confirmation message displays. To create additional links, click Clear. You may need to reset the filters. Add Custom Links for PE Picklist Values
In the Manage Custom Links template, with the filters set appropriately, click the Link to field to select Physical Exam picklist value to launch template from the resulting list. To populate the Physical Exam field, do one of the following: To base the new link on an existing one, select the appropriate row to automatically populate the fields. To create a new link from scratch, type the physical exam name in the field Click any of the following fields to select the appropriate options to which the custom link is applicable: Popup to Gender Age Click Add. Add Custom Links for a Chief Complaint
When you add new links, the spelling, case, and punctuation must be identical to the link that is added the History of Present Illness (HPI) section of the Framework Content template. In the Manage Custom Links template, with the filters set appropriately, click the Link to field to select Chief complaint to HPI po up to launch from the resulting list. To populate the Chief Complaint field, do one of the following: To base the new link on an existing one, select the appropriate row to automatically populate the fields. To create a new link from scratch, type the complaint name in the field Click the following fields and select the appropriate options to which the custom link is applicable: Popup to Gender Age Click Add. The newly created custom link is added to the grid and a confirmation message displays. To create additional values, click Clear. You may need to reset the filters. Update Custom Links
When you edit the HPI or PE links, the spelling, case, and punctuation must be identical to the link that is added the Reason for Visit and Physical Exam sections of the Framework Content template. In the Manage Custom Links practice template , with the filters set appropriately, click the Link to and select a value from the list. Select a row in the grid. The fields above the grid populate with data from the selected row. Make necessary changes in the fields, and then click Update.
