Set Up Categories for Order Types or Picklists
You can create a new category of order items for an order type based on the specialty. On the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select the Specialty List display filter. Right-click anywhere in the grid and select Add New. Edit Full List of Order Set Picklists
In the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists data grid, select the Full List option. Select an order type in the grid.The Treatment Plan Dbp template opens. Make the required changes in the fields. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. In the Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select Save & Close. Remove Order Set Picklists
In the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists data grid, select the Full List or Specialty List option.The grid is populated with the corresponding data. Create a New Order Set
The My Plan templates display all order sets that are available in the system, including those that are shipped with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. The order sets can be based on a diagnosis group, provider, or specialty (department). On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. In the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section, right-click and select Add New. Assessment and Plan Customization window The Provider's Custom Plan template opens. Depending on how you want to set up the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Update an Order Set
On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Select the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid.The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Provider's Custom Plan window Make the required changes to the displayed order set. Select Save, and then select Close.The updated data displays in the grid.
