Configure Coded Results Mapping for Behavioral Health Protocol
Identify a field on a template that indicates the protocol is complete. For example, selecting the Client received copy of this plan checkbox on the Integrated Service Plan (BH) template can indicate a completed protocol for the ISP. Client received copy of this plan check box Open the Coded Results Mapping practice template. Enter Source Table and Source Field. In Field Value, enter the value for complete or type 1 for Yes. In Code System, select an item from the picklist. In Code Value, type the code value. Select Add. You can activate the guideline for the client in Care Guidelines. Completing Care Guidelines by Coded Results Mapping
Currently, a stored procedure runs at night to update any coded results mapping. Therefore, you do not see the update to Care Guidelines until the next day. The job is set to automatically run every night. Therefore, you can run a job at the encounter level from the Update Encounter Coded Data template to update the Coded Results mapping table immediately with the new values entered for the current patient encounter. Use Custom Data Mappings on the Provider CQM Template
When the custom data mappings are configured, at runtime, you can enter the custom data needed for reporting a measure in the Custom Data Mapping panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. The Custom Data Mappings panel displays all the custom data mapping records configured in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel on the Coded Results Mapping template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Exception/Measures in the navigation bar.The Exceptions/Measures template opens. Expand the Custom Data Mapping panel. Custom Data Mapping Note: The Custom Data to Document grid shows all the records from the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel on the Coded Results Mapping template. Edit Coded Results Mapping Records
You can modify a coded results mapping record. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Coded Results Mapping template, filter the grid records to view the record that you want to edit. Select the record.The data fields in the Add/Update Coded Results Mapping section show the data from the record. Add/Update Coded Results Mapping Make the desired changes. Update a Mapping
You can retain the original mapping values for the previously created patient records. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Coded Results Mapping template. Expand the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel. Select a mapping record in the grid.The data fields are filled with the data from the selected record and the Update button is enabled. Make the required changes to data fields. Note: If you clear a field that is required, the Update button is disabled until you make an entry in that field. Select Update.The system updates the selected mapping record with the changed data. Note: If you change any of the data in the fields and select Add, the system creates a new mapping and does not update the selected mapping record. Parent topic: Custom Data Mapping

Custom Data Mapping
You can report the data fields for newly added measures that are not currently available in the system. You can enter variable data for reporting purposes at runtime. Your system is delivered with a defined set of measures and code mappings using which you can immediately report for new measures that are not supported by the system. In addition, you can add measure and code mappings as needed to meet the new reporting requirements. On the Coded Results Mapping template, in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel, you can do the following: Configure custom mapping for fields with the data values that need to be captured for reporting the new measures. Enable the data to be added on a template after the upgrade. When configured, providers can enter custom data for reporting the measures in the Custom Data Mappings panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. The Custom Data Mappings panel consists of a grid, which displays all the records from the Certification Custom Data Mapping pane
