Document the Interim Assessment Details on the Patient's Suicide Status
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
For a patient encounter, open a template.
Note:Your practice can also configure the template to be accessible from the Packet Navigation (BH) template. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide forNextGen® Behavioral Health Suite.
Select the Screening Tools link.
The Screening Tools template opens.
Select CAMS Suicide Status Form (SSF-5) Interim Session.
Select the assessment date.
In the Patient panel, let the patient complete the details with your assistance.
In the Clinician panel, document the patient's suicidal details.
In the Clinician Post-Session Evaluation panel, document your evaluation of the patient's assessment details.
In the Signature panel, document the necessary signatories.
Select Save & Close.
The severity and interpretation information appears in the Screening Tools Performed grid in the Screening Tool window.
