NextGen® Enterprise EHR
, select the
Templates
button in
Patient History
.
The
Select Template
window opens.
On the
Medical Records
tab, select
All
.
From the list, select
Patient Safety Plan (BH)
, and then select
OK
.
Expand the
Professionals/Agencies
panel.
Select the
Community Resources
link.
In the
Community Resources
window, select a resource in the
All Resources
grid, and then select
Include selected resource
.
The selected resource appears in the
Patient's Resources
grid.
Optional:
Select
This visit
or
Prior visit
to display the associated resource list.
Select
Save & Close
.
The resource information appears in the
Professionals/Agencies
grid.
To print the current resources on the generated document, select the
Include Current Visit Professionals/Agencies on Document
checkbox.
To add entries in the
Community Resource
grid, open the
Community Resource Setup
panel on the
System Configuration
template.
To show records added during the current encounter only, select the checkbox next to the grid.
Note:
By default, the checkbox is not selected to display all the records in the grid.

Document Supporting Resources for Patient Safety
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Expand the Support Resources panel. Select the contact person from First Name. The contact information appears in the remaining fields. Document Patient Perceptions of the Value of Living
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Expand the Something Worth Living For panel, and enter a brief description of what the patient thinks makes their life worth living. To indicate whether the entries are still relevant, select Active or Inactive. Select Add. The record appears in the grid. Optional: To filter the list of records in the grid, select the status in the Display status of field. The grid lists records with the selected status. Select Generate Document. Document Patient Activities to Ensure a Safe Environment for the Patient
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Expand the Safe Environment panel, and enter a brief description of the patient's activities that contribute to maintaining a safe environment. To indicate whether the activities are currently relevant, select Active or Inactive. Select Add. The safety activity record appears in the grid. Optional: To filter the list of records in the grid, select the status in the Display status of field. The grid lists records with the selected status. Document Distractions for Patient Safety
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Expand the Distractions panel, and enter a brief description of the distractions caused by people and social settings that compromise the patient's safety. Distractions Panel To indicate whether the distractions are still relevant, select Active or Inactive. Select Add. The distraction record appears in the grid. Document Warning Signs for Patient Safety
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Select the program, specialty, and visit type. Expand the Warning Signs panel, and enter a brief about the warning signs of the patient's mental crisis. To indicate whether the warning signs still apply, select Active or Inactive. Select Add. The warning sign record appears in the grid. Note: You can select Clear to reset the fields. Optional: To filter the list of records in the grid, select the status in the Display status of field. Document Coping Strategies for Patient Safety
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in Patient History, select the Templates button. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. From the list, select Patient Safety Plan (BH) and select OK. Expand the Coping Strategies panel, and enter a brief description of the coping strategy that helps the patient relax. Enter a brief about the coping strategy that keeps the patient relaxed. To indicate whether the coping strategy still applies, select Active or Inactive. Select Add. The coping strategy record appears in the grid. Optional: To filter the list of records in the grid, select the status in the Display status of field. The grid lists records with the selected status.
