Open the
Opiate Treatment Program Setup
template.
Select a treatment program.
Expand the
Opiate Treatment Phases
panel.
Select the location and number of phases.
Enter a description of the location-specific phase.
Enter the minimum number of days required for a medication phase.
Optional:
To remove data from all the fields, select
Clear
.
Select
Add
.
The details appear in the grid.

Update Opiate Treatment Phases
On the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template, expand the Opiate Treatment Phases panel. Open the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template. Select a record in the grid. The details appear in the respective fields. Optional: To remove data from all the fields, select Clear. Modify the required details, and then select Update. The updated details appear in the grid. Configure Opiate Treatment Rules
You can configure multiple rules for a phase. Open the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template. Expand the Opiate Treatment Rules panel. Opiate Treatment Rules Panel Select the location and number of phases. The description of the selected phase appears in the Description field. Enter a rule name. Add Patients to the Opiate Treatment Active Patient List
On the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template, expand the Opiate Treatment Active Patient List panel. Opiate Treatment Active Patient List Enter the last name of the patient, and then select Search. The Get Patient Name window opens with the patient list matching the last name. Select a patient, and then select OK. The patient details appear in the respective fields. Select the location, admission date, and the clinician details. Select the treatment phase. The description of the phase appears in the Phase Description field. Enter Phase Start Date. The Phase Documented By displays the current user details. Optional: To remove data from all of the fields, select Clear. Select Add. The details appear in the grid. Update Opiate Treatment Rules
You can update multiple rules for an opiate treatment phase. Open the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template. Expand the Opiate Treatment Rules panel. Select the record in the grid. The details appear in the respective fields. Optional: To remove data from all of the fields, select Clear. Modify the required details, and then select Update. Remove a Patient Record from the Opiate Treatment Active Patient List
Open the Opiate Treatment Program Setup template. Expand the Opiate Treatment Active Patient List panel. Select the record in the grid, and then select Remove. Parent topic: Opiate Treatment Configuration

Document the Opiate Treatment Program Details
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Templates. The Select Template window opens. Select the Demographics tab, and then select All. Select Opiate Treatment Program, and then select OK. Select the opiate treatment program. In the Treatment Phase History panel, document the treatment phases for the patient. In the Treatment Phase Progress panel, document the progress of the patient's treatment phases. Expand the Medication Information, Urine Drug Screen, Appointment, and Treatment History panels to view the corresponding details of the patient. Parent topic: Opiate Treatment Support
