Name	Description
Cascade	Stacks all windows with the debugger work space.
Tile	Places all windows side-by-side in the debugger work space.
Console	Brings focus to the Console Window. The Console Window allows users to perform small scripts, test the state of variables, and display logs.

Name Description Open Opens a dialog which allows you to select JavaScript from the system which is pulled into a new window in the debugger workspace. Run Allows you to select JavaScript from the system which is pulled into the debugger window for execution. The new test interruption point will be the next executable line. Debug Menu

Name Description Break Pauses to interrupt the running code in the test. Go Continues running the test until the end or to the next breakpoint. Step Into Increments the execution by one line. If the next line is inside a function, then the interruption will step into the function allowing the view of the context within. Step Over If the current function has been called by another function, then Step Over returns to the previous function. Otherwise it continues running the test to the end or to the next breakpoint (like the Go function). Step Out Progresses the execution to the next line outside of the current function. Break on Exceptions Continues running the test script until an exception occurs. Break on Function Enter Continues and then breaks once you reach a new function. Break on Function Return Continues and then breaks once you reach the end of the current function. Parent topic: Debugger Menus

Edit Menu

Name Description Cut Copies the highlighted text to the system clipboard and removes the text from the debugger window. Copy Copies the highlighted text to the system clipboard. Paste Places the system clipboard text into the current location of the cursor in the debugger window. Go to function... Moves the cursor to a specific named function within the script. Go to line... Number Name Description 1 Title The Title identifies the Chanel ID and the Event Name or Connector Identifier for the selected channel. 2 Internal Code This is the thread interruption point which appears where the internal code of the debug option starts (i.e., the “importClass – function() ”. line). As you test your script, you can see the state of various objects and variables in the lines prior to the interruption line. 3 Custom JavaScript Any custom JavaScript displays normally within the “doScript() ” boundary. Window Menu

The Window menu enables you to adjust the view of windows in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Window Option Description Cascade Cascades all open windows. Tile Horizontally Tiles all open windows horizontally. Tile Vertically Tiles all open windows vertically. Close Closes an open window. Close all Closes all open windows.
