Administrator Layout
The Mirth® Connect Administrator includes main view selections and context-specific tasks located on the left side of the window. After you login to the Administrator, you will first be taken to the Dashboard view. Custom Metadata Columns
Custom metadata columns are user-created, searchable columns that appear in the Metadata Table in the Message Browser. As messages process through a channel, these columns are populated from the Variable Maps using a configurable map key. Column Description Column Name The name of the actual database column. This name will also be shown in the metadata table when viewing the message browser for the channel. Type The type of column to create. STRING: A textual string value. NUMBER: A numeric value. This may be an integer or floating point value. BOOLEAN: A true/false value. TIMESTAMP: A date/time value. Variable Mapping The key used to look up values in all available variable maps for each connector. Dashboard View
The Dashboard is the default view you will see after logging on to the Mirth® Connect Administrator. The Dashboard gives you an overall view of all of your deployed channels. It also enables you to start or stop specific channels and connectors. Task Icon Task Name Description View Events View events specific to the Data Pruner. When selected this leaves the Settings View and enters the Events View.
