4.1.0 Upgrade Notes

Warning: Open issue with SMB File Reader/Writer

In 4.1.0, you may encounter errors with the SMB mode of the File Reader/Writer connector, relating to a third-party library. If you currently use the SMB mode for reading or writing files, it's best to wait until a patch version is available.

If you've already upgraded to 4.1.0 and you're encountering this issue, there is a workaround documented in the issue: #5327.

Update log4j Library

Because of the upgrade from log4j to log4j2, the old log4j.properties file has been replaced with the new log4j2.properties file.
