New Authorization Access Points

From the…Use this access path
People Lookup or Patient LookupClick Tasks menu, then click Lookup, and then click People. Enter search criteria and then click Find. Right-click the applicable person and then select New Authorization.
Encounter LookupClick Tasks menu, then click Lookup, and then click Encounters. Enter search criteria and then click Find. Right-click the applicable encounter and click New Authorization.
Appointment ListClick the appointment list icon. Enter search criteria and then click Find. Right-click the applicable appointment and click New Authorization.
Patient ChartFrom a patient's chart, click the Encounters tab and then right-click the applicable encounter and click New Authorization.

From a patient's chart click the Financial tab. Right-click the applicable encounter and then click New Authorization.

Appointment Book (Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule, or Multi-View view)Right-click on the applicable appointment and then click Authorization History.
Insurance ListingClick Tasks menu, then click Lookup, and then click People. Enter search criteria and then click Find. Right-click the applicable patient, click Open. From the Insurance Listing area in the Modify Person Information window, right-click a patient and select New Authorization.
Insurance MaintenanceClick on a patient's chart and then click the Insurance tab. Double-click on the applicable insurance, and then click the Elig/Referral tab. Right-click in the window.
Update Patient InformationClick Demographics, and then right-click in the Available Insurance section.
