Set Up Client Defined Fields for Health Centers

Additional custom patient demographic fields can be created and made available on the Client Defined tab of the Add/Modify Patient Information window. Up to 14 client defined fields are available that can be used to capture additional information about patients. These fields can be included on most reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Note: For the Client Defined tab to display on the Add/Modify Patient Information window, at least one client defined field must be created. Open Enterprise Preferences. Select the Client Defined tab. In the Client Defined Label column, click into the first blank field and enter a name for the client defined field. Note: Each field label creates a Master List table in File Maintenance by the same name. Repeat steps 1-3 to create additional client defined fields. To save changes and close the window, click OK.
