Receivable Analysis Reports

The Receivable Analysis reports provide the ability to perform in-depth analysis of collections over time and to monitor the receivables balances by categories. The following Receivable Analysis reports are available in NextGen® Enterprise PM: By Age By Month By Type To access the reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Accounts Receivable, then select Receivable Analysis, and then select one of the above reports. Aging Analysis by Line Item Report

The Aging Analysis by Line Item report is a line item-based report that shows the total outstanding balance for each charge by aging category. You can filter the report by Process Date on Filter 1 so that you can retrieve data from any point in time. However, the history of changes to the charge status over time is not stored. Therefore, if using the Process Date filter, select all charge statuses for an accurate report. If you run the report for balancing totals to other reports, then you must select all Charge Status check boxes on Filter 1 (Bad Debt, Billed, History, Rebill and Unbilled). If you run the report for tracking the total outstanding A/R, then you should select the Billed, Rebill, and Unbilled Charge Status check boxes on Filter 1. The report has the "drill-down" functionality. Double-click an encounter to access the corresponding Patient Chart directly from the report or double-click an invoice to access the corresponding Account Profile. To access the report in NextGen®

Budget Plans Reports

Budget Plans reports enable you to track guarantor accounts that are on a budget plan. The following reports are available: General Budget Plans: Displays a list of all guarantor accounts that are on a budget plan. Pre-Listed Plans: Displays a list of all guarantor accounts that are on a budget plan that has reached a Pre-List status. Re-Establish Plans: Displays a list of all guarantor accounts that are on a budget plan that should have their budget parameters re-established. For example, encounters have been added to a budget plan, and therefore the original payment amount and number of payments are no longer applicable with the new balance on the budget plan. To access the reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Accounts Receivable, then select Budget Plans, and then select one of the above reports. The Collections reports category includes various reports that you can use to review financial information for patients and guarantor accounts in your practice. The reports can help you monitor and manage outstanding balances and assist with your internal collections processes in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Account Summary Report

The Account Summary report is account based and shows one summary line for every guarantor or employer. By default, it is sorted by Prac Name (Practice name) and Guar Name (Guarantor name). From Filter 1, using the No Self Pmt Since field is useful to identify the patients who have not paid their balances. The report has "drill-down" functionality that enables you to double-click on a record to access the Account Profile window directly from the report. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports menu and select Accounts Receivable, then select Collections, and then select Account Summary. From the Report Filter window, select the Info button to view the following information about the report: Logic: This report produces one line for each Account within the selected Practice(s). If multiple Practices are selected, the account will be repeated for each Practice where an Account exists. Both Encounter and Account level unapplied credits will display in the Unapplied Am
