Add Libraries to Practices

Libraries are linked to the payer and specific to the current practice. You can select default libraries for the practice, and they will be used everywhere. Open the File Maintenance. Open the System > Practice > Payer master file > Practice. Select the Libraries tab. Select the necessary libraries and settings. Note: Libraries are available only when the current practice has practice access to them. Assign a Practice to a Payer

In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Payers. The Payers List window opens. Right-click the applicable payer and then select Practice Access. The Payer Master Access by Practice window opens. Note: By default, all the practices listed on the Payer Master Access by Practice window are selected to allow access to all of the payers listed in the Payer master file. However, when a new payer is added, the practice in which the payer was created is the only one that has access to that payer. From the Practice list: Select the check boxes individually, next to the practices in the list, or right-click a practice and then select Select All option to allow specific practices to access the payer. Clear the check boxes next to the practices in the list to prevent specific practices from accessing the payer. Note: You must select at least one practice. Select OK. Libraries tab on the Practice tab

You can override the default Claim Edits Library selected on the Practice Preferences Libraries window in the Payers file. In File Maintenance, access the Payers master file. On the Payers List window, double-click the applicable payer. Select Practice and then Libraries. In the Claim Edits Library field, select the applicable library. Select OK.
