Significant Events for Real-Time Address Validation

You can turn on the real-time address validation feature by selecting one of the following significant events located in the Significant Event Information window:

• Address Changed through "Change of Address Update" Process
• Address Verified

When you turn on real-time address validation, messages related to address validation can appear on the following reports:

• Patient Chart Demographics
• Patient Chart Demographics with Providers
• Account Summary

The following columns appear on the reports:

• Valid Billing Address
• Valid Secondary Address

The following data indicators appear on the reports:

Address verified-accepted United States Postal Service (USPS) valid address

N

Address verified-accepted USPS valid address

I

Unable to Validate as an USPS Address (Invalid address)

Address did not go through the verification process
