Set Required Fields in Chart Preferences for Patient Demographics
Your system administrator can select specific fields as required in the Chart preferences. If you leave these fields blank, they appear in red when you add or modify patient information
Open Practice Preferences window from NextGen® Enterprise PM or File Maintenance.
Select Chart preferences
Select fields in the Required Fields list to set them as required field.
Select OK.
