General Search Criteria

Search CriteriaDescription
Request StatusSearches a claim by the status of a claim when you select one of the following options:
  • Archived A displays all archived claims.
  • Consolidated C displays all Consolidated Services Claims (CSC).
  • Hold H displays all CSC Candidate Encounter Claims.
  • Pending displays all pending claims.
Media TypeSearches a claim by claim media types when you select one of the following options:
  • Electronic
  • Paper
Claim FormSearches a claim by claim form media types when you select either Electronic or Paper in the Media Type.
  • When you select Electronic the following options appear in the Claim Form column:
    • 1500
    • ADA
    • UB
    • Form 1 Template
    • Pediatrics Form
  • When you select Paper the following options appear in the Claim Form column:
    • CMS 1500
    • ADA 2019
    • ADA 2024
    • CMS 1500 (2005)
    • CMS 1500 (2012)
    • UB04
    • UB92
    • Form 1 Template
    • Pediatrics Form
Claim TypeSearches claim by one or more claim types from the list.
Rendering PhysicianSearches claim by one or more rendering physicians from the list.

The flashlight icon displays the Provider Lookup window that allows you to search a rendering physician by its last, first, or middle name.

Created or Processed Beginning and Thru datesSearches claim within a time period for when the claim was created or processed.
Financial ClassSearches claim by financial class.
Encounter NbrSearches claim by encounter number.
Report Transmission CodeSelects one or more methods for transferring pending or archived claims data:
  • AA - Available on Request from Provider
  • BM - By Mail
  • EL - Electronic Only
  • EM - E-mail
  • FT - File Transfer
  • Fx - By Fax
PayerSearches claim by payer from the list.
Claim Created BySearches claim by the user who created the claim.

You can locate all the claims that a specific user has created.

Aged Days Without PaymentSearches claims that meet a specified number of aged days without payment.
Primary, Secondary, TertiaryEnables the applicable check box to search for primary, secondary, or tertiary claims.
Consolidated Services ClaimSelects one of the following options to determine if CSC claims display in the Claim Requests list:
  • Include CSC displays the CSC claims and the claims that match the search criteria.
  • Exclude CSC only display the claims that match the search criteria and do not display CSC claims.
  • List Only CSC only display the CSC claims.
Consolidated Services Claim Time SpanSelects the time frame for the claims that you want to consolidate.
This field becomes active when you select HOLD H in the Request Status field.
  • <none> displays all the Hold claims.
  • Consolidate Same Day Claims display all encounters that occurred on the same date.
  • Consolidate Weekly Claims display all encounters during the same week. The week as defined in the CSC library, either Sunday through Saturday or Monday through Sunday.
  • Consolidate Monthly Claims display all encounters for the month.
  • Consolidate Case Claims display all encounters related to the same case.
