Cancel a Report

You can stop, or cancel, a report before it finishes processing by pressing the ESC (escape) button on your keyboard. After you select OK to run the report, the Executing Database Transaction status displays as the report is processing. Select the ESC key on your keyboard. A message appears asking you to confirm cancellation of this report. Select Yes. The report displays blank columns and a message appears stating that there is no data for the report. Preview and Print Reports

When a report is generated and it displays on screen, you can either print the report or you can preview the report to see how it will look when you print it. To print a report from the report display, do the following: From the report toolbar, select Print Report . Note: If you want to print specific pages instead of the entire report, select Preview Report . The report prints to your default printer. To preview a report from the report display, do the following: From the report toolbar, select Preview Report . The Print Preview window opens. If a message displays indicating the report does not fit on the page, select Yes to return to the report display, and then remove and resize columns as necessary. If you select No to return to the report, the report shows as much as possible, but some data is cut off. From the report toolbar, select the Preview Report . The Print Preview window opens. If a message displays indicating the report does not fit on the page, select Yes to return to the report display, and then remove and resize columns as necessary If you select No to return to the report, the report shows as much as possible, but some data is cut off. Printing Reports

When a report is generated and displays on your screen, you can print a report from either from the Preview [Report Name] window or selecting Print Report from the report toolbar. Printing from the Preview [Report Name] window enables you to select a printer, a page range, and the number of copies to be printed. If you want to print specific pages instead of the entire report, you need to select the Preview Report . Printing from Print Report on the report toolbar prints directly to your default printer. To successfully print a report from the Preview [Report Name] window, the report must finish processing the data before you close the window. Remove a Task

You can remove a task you accepted or declined from the task list. You cannot remove an uncompleted task you assigned to another user. You can restore a removed task if required. You can permanently remove a completed task that you created so that is no longer in your database. You cannot recover permanently removed tasks. To remove a single task, select the task, and then select Remove > Single Task from the toolbar. To remove multiple tasks at a time, select the tasks by selecting the Ctrl key, and then select Remove > Multiple Tasks from the toolbar. A confirmation message Remove Task appears to remove the task. To permanently remove the selected tasks, select the Remove Permanently check box. A warning message cautions you that the action cannot be undone. To remove the selected tasks, select OK. One of the following windows can appear based on the task you are trying to remove: You have accepted the task but have not completed it. Select OK to mark the task as completed and remove

Working with Reports On-Screen

When you initially run a report, it displays the data. This is not a Print Preview; it is not an accurate representation of how the report looks when you print it. To see the report in a print preview, select the Preview Report button on the report toolbar. It does, however, give you a chance to: View the actual data of the report. Manipulate the data using the "drill-down" functionality. Set the report's column sizes. You can also use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard to look through the report on-screen.
