Financial Information Records Report
The Financial Information Records report identifies financial information records that have not been assigned to a Practice ID. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports > System > Data Maintenance > Unassigned Benefit Info Records and then select Financial Information Records. Note: The report is available only if the System Level Benefit Info preference is set to False in System Administrator > Universal Preferences > General Options. Assign an Eligibility or Benefit Record to a Practice
Run the Eligibility and Benefit Records Report. From the report, hover over the desired record to access the "drill-down" cursor. Double-click the record. The Data Integrity - Unassigned Elig and Benefit Info Records window appears. Select one of the following Data Integrity Options: Assign current practice to this record only: Select this option to assign the practice to the selected record. Assign current practice to all records displayed: Select this option to assign the practice to all records on the report. To continue, select Assign. Unassigned Benefit Info Records Reports
When the system is unable to automatically assign a practice ID to a record, that record will not display on the Benefit Info window of the Insurance Maintenance when the Universal Preference > System Level Benefit Info preference is set to False. To assign a record to your practice, you can use one of the Unassigned Benefit Info Records reports. These reports are Financial Information Records and Eligibility and Benefit Records. Both reports include a drill down function that allows you to assign the current practice to a single record or to all records on the report. Assigning records to a practice can be done from the Eligibility and Benefits Records report or the Financial Information Records report found in the reports menu under System > Data Maintenance > Unassigned Benefit Info Records. Note: The Unassigned Benefit Info Records option only displays on the System reports menu when the System Level Benefit Info preference is set to False in System Administrator > Universal Prefer

Assign a Practice to a Payer
In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Payers. The Payers List window opens. Right-click the applicable payer and then select Practice Access. The Payer Master Access by Practice window opens. Note: By default, all the practices listed on the Payer Master Access by Practice window are selected to allow access to all of the payers listed in the Payer master file. However, when a new payer is added, the practice in which the payer was created is the only one that has access to that payer. From the Practice list: Select the check boxes individually, next to the practices in the list, or right-click a practice and then select Select All option to allow specific practices to access the payer. Clear the check boxes next to the practices in the list to prevent specific practices from accessing the payer. Note: You must select at least one practice. Select OK. Assign Practice Access to a Program
The Programs master file is a system-level table. Therefore, all programs can potentially be accessed by any practice in any enterprise. If your enterprise includes multiple practices, you can use the Practice Access option to define which practices have access to each program. For example, Practice A and Practice B both provide services under Program XYZ, but Practice C does not. Therefore, only Practices A and B should have access to Program XYZ. Note: Multiple practices with access to the same program share all system-level parameters defined on the program System and Clinical tabs. Each practice can define their own practice-level parameters on the program Practice tab. Access File Maintenance. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then Programs.
