Add Tasks from Report Window Details

The Add Tasks from Report window includes the following details:
FieldDescription
Task TypeThe Task Type is any task defined in the Task Types master files. To have the appropriate tasks to select from, be certain that they are set up and defined in the master file before trying to use them here.
StatusIn the Status field you can select from the following options:
  • None
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Not Started
PriorityYou can select from the following priorities:
  • None
  • High
  • Normal
  • Low
SubjectThis is a free form text field. You can enter any text here.
Assigned ToThis field has a list that allows you to select from any of the available resources to assign responsibility for this task.

You can also press CTRL-M to assign yourself to the task.

DetailsThis is also a free-form text field that allows you to enter any details you feel necessary to aid in the completion of this task.

Pressing CTRL-Shift-D adds a date and time stamp as well as your signature.

Start DateFrom a pop-up calendar you can select the date this task should begin.
Follow Up DtYou can select a date to follow-up on this task from the pop-up calendar.
Due DateThis is the date the task must be completed. It, too, can be selected from a pop-up calendar.
Expiration DateThe expiration date is the date that the task in no longer valid, and therefore, expires.
Completion DtFrom the pop-up calendar, you can select the date the task was completed.
Completion ReasonFrom the list, you can select a preset list of reasons for the task completion. If you do not find an appropriate reason, contact your system administrator.
Completed ByThe list contains all available resources. From the list you can select the resources that completed the task.
Discontinue future Auto Creation of this Task TypeIf this task is a part of a predetermined Auto Create process, you can select an option to discontinue it as a part of that process, such as indefinitely, or until. The task then stands alone, so to speak.
Open Tasks FilterSelecting this check box enables you to display any other tasks related to this patient. You can select from the list one of the following:
  • All
  • Account
  • Appointment
  • Chart
  • Encounter
  • Invoice

Task Detail History for related Open TasksThis field displays the actions taken on currently open tasks as well as the user who worked on it.
