Add or Modify a Behavioral Health Billing Library

Open File Maintenance. Select Libraries, and then Behavioral Health Billing. The Behavioral Health Billing List window opens. Do one of the following: To create a library, select open menu button and select New. To modify a library, select the library from the list, and then select open menu and select Open. The Behavioral Health Billing Library Maintenance window opens. In the Behavioral Health Billing Library field, enter a name for the library. This field is required. Complete parameters as needed on the following tabs: Charge Options, for more information see Set Up Charge Options. Claim Options, for more information see Set Up Claim Options. The library also defines other claim and billing parameters that may be needed when billing Behavioral Health services to specific payers. A single library can be created and linked to the practice to be used for all payers. Or payer-specific libraries can be created and linked only to those payers. Set Up Security Access Rights for Behavioral Health Libraries

Open System Administrator. The NextGen System Administrator window opens. On the left, select to expand an enterprise and then a practice. Select a user group within the practice. Select the Rights tab. Select Modules, and then select File Maintenance. Scroll and select Behavioral Health Billing Library and then select view, add, update, delete and print Access Rights for the group. Scroll and select Non-Coordinated SIM Library and then select View, Add, Update, Delete and Print access rights for the group. To save changes, select Update.
