Set up User Preferences for the Patient Information Bar

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. To display the Patient Information Bar in the patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Practice > Preferences > Patient Information Bar > PM, and then select Show Patient Information Bar check box. Shoe PIB in PM Note: To change the appearance of the Patient Information Bar in a patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Preferences > User > General. You must select the Show Patient Information Bar check box first to enable the In Charge Entry, In Payment Entry, and Patient Information Bar Color options. To display the Patient Information Bar during charge entry, select the In Charge Entry check box. To display the Patient Information Bar during payment entry, select the In Payment Entry check box. To assign a different color to the Patient Information Bar, clear the Default check box in the Patient Information Bar Color section. The numeric values for the default color appear.
