You can create a list of edge types that you can apply to eyeglass orders. Edge types come pre-loaded with the system. This list will be displayed in the Edge Type field on the eyeglass order form.
- On the Edge Types tab, do one of the following:
- To add a new item, select Open Menu
and select New.
- To modify an item, double-click the item to open.
The
Edge Types window opens.
- In the Description, field, enter a description for the edge type.
- In SIM Code, select the question mark
symbol to search for and select a code or description associated with the lens material, and select OK.
- To indicate this item is taxable, select Taxable.
- To use this edge type for only VSP orders, select For use on VSP orders only.
- To add more detail, select Note and add your comments.
- To hide an item in the list, select Hide.
- On the External tab, select open menu and select New.
The Add External Interface window opens.
- In External System, select VisionWeb or VSP as an external provider.
- In External Description, select a description for the system and select OK.
- Select Next to add another item or OK to return to the Edge Types list.
