Export Search Results

Before you begin Enable Multi-Channel Message Exports After you perform a message search, you can export the results to a location outside Mirth® Connect. Under Message Tasks, select Export Results. The Export Results window appears and enables you to configure the settings used to export the results from a search. By default, the file pattern for exported results is ${message.channelId}_message_${message.messageId}.xml.Export Results window Select the parameters for the export operation. Enable the Multi-Channel Message View Confirmation Window

You can enable or disable the multi-message view confirmation window from the Administrator settings. The multi-message view confirmation window appears when a user attempts to view messages across multiple channels to notify the user that the search operation may take an extended amount of time. The confirmation window gives users the option to proceed with or cancel the search. You can enable or disable the multi-message view confirmation window from the Administrator settings. In the Administrator, select Settings from the Mirth® Connect panel. Select the Administrator tab. From the Channels View

Select the Channels link in the Mirth Connect task panel on the upper-left side of the window. Select a channel where the messages you would like to view reside. Select the View Messages task in the left task list. For additional information, see Channel Tasks. Export Attachment

When you select the Export Attachment task, a confirmation dialog pops up: Item Description File Type Choose Binary to write the raw bytes of the attachment out to file. Choose Text to write the Base64 encoded representation of the attachment out to the file. Export To Choose Server to export the attachment directly to the machine running the Mirth® Connect Server. Choose My Computer to pull the attachment down to the client side and write it out to a location on the machine running the Administrator. File The location where the attachment will be saved. Export Results

You can export channel messages using the Export Results window. When you select the Export Results task, an options window opens. Note that all messages matching the current search criteria are exported, not only the ones shown on the current page. Export Results window used to export channel messages Item Name Description A Content The type of content used to export from the messages. Note that an XML serialized message is the only type that can be re-imported, and it includes all content across the message in a single XML file. B Encrypt If checked, the exported message content is encrypted with the server's encryption key. C Include Attachments If checked and the content type is set to XML serialized message, the exported file contains all attachments associated with the message. D Compression When compression is enabled, the files and folders created according to the file pattern are made into a compressed file in the root path.
